As you probably know, back in March nearly 300 missiles exploded within a few days in southern Israeli communities. Israeli citizens – men, women and children – continue to live in terrifying fear of more attacks…

United with Israel initiated an emergency campaign to build bomb shelters in southern Israel. Thanks to your support, on April 2, we delivered and installed 2 above-ground portable bomb shelters in 2 Israeli towns outside of Ashkelon. The people of Israel sincerely thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Right now, the need is very great. Nearly one million Israelis are within rocket range from Gaza. Children are living in fear. There are dozens more communities in southern that do not have adequate shelters. Many don’t have any shelters.

Here are 2 ways that you can help:

2. You can purchase ‘Rockets into Roses’ items. These are unique, handcrafted art sculptures, jewelry and judaica made from the remains of actual rockets that landed in Israeli communities. Israel’s way of turning terror into beauty. A portion of the proceeds are allocated to the Bomb Shelter Campaign.

Above-ground portable shelters need to be deployed in vulnerable Israeli communities. These shelters can be moved to where they are needed most. They will provide safety for Israeli citizens as they go about their daily lives.

The shelters are built to prevent the penetration of bullets, shrapnel and missile fragments and can withstand direct hits. While building underground shelters can take months, these prefab units take can be built, delivered and deployed in a matter of days.

Although these shelters cannot provide Israeli communities with peace, they provide both safety and peace of mind.
